Bemerkung
Rose, died unexpectedly ‎(though age 80)‎. It was a natural quick death - electrical cardiac arrest heart area possible stroke. Rose traveled to New York to Sterling Forest area. Visited a relative Alexandra B. Dydynska who became a nun and later a mother superior. Please see the document of Alexandra the nun. Also Rose was not part of a woman's suffrage - Polish Falcons of America or Polish League of Women Voters. And not part of welcoming US soldiers back from the war in europe near the statue of Liberty - New Jersey side. She traveled by train through Pittsburgh ‎(9 hours one way)‎ though it was controversial. Her family did not want her to go east. Her husband John died in Hoytdale, Pa. Sept. 29 1898, Pa. Northwest of southside Pittsburgh area above Koppel. It is also likely Leonard ‎(son)‎ who had a phone in his Detroit business in 1918 was contacted to bring her back to Hoytdale, Pa. for burial which was to be alongside John. The relatives like i.e. ‎(Mary Dydynska)‎ visited Rose at times. Though after death Rose's body never left Warwick, NY to be put on a the train to Hoytdale, Pa. area to the cemetery where John is buried Which is St Theresa's cemetery. Leonard could not afford to move Rose or Johnto be buried then and years later as the last 2 graves in the Ratajsk plot in Mt. Olivet in Detroit.

Also the death date of May 21, 1918 is accurate. She was buried out of ‎(at that time and many years was - the St. Stephen's R.C. Church at South St. and Second St. a few days after her death. She was buried in Warwick Cemetery by the family of Charlotte Miynek/Mlynk (various spellings)‎ by her son Mike and wife Mary. Charlotte died in 1917 before Rose.

Bemerkung
Rose was a trained ‎(professional)‎ midwife in Poland. I have given an example of a birth record Rose was documented in Poland. What she did in America is support births by registered midwifes as noted in any city directory. She gained a living up to her death in a support profession ‎(midwives)‎ and lived a comfortable life after John died before 1900.

Rose was a person who liked to be busy at all the time. She worked for her friend Charlotte with birthing. Rose also worked for the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church - helping out there as well. She was a person who could not sit around, so she did help often in every way she could, including in the boarding house ‎(on Colonial ave.)‎ that Charlotte rented/owned with her son Mike and ‎(his wife Mary)‎. Besides a final note in her travels she went back to Wisconsin to help with births of her daughter's children in 1900 ‎(see 1900 Wisc. census)‎.

Bemerkung
We know Rosalia and Johnan married in November 9, 1864. However looking at this new "underscore"I find Rose
as a godmother two years before her marriage to Johan!

Bemerkung
Rose, is found in Wisconsin living with one of two daughter's.
They are sisters... Bernice and Lottie.

Rose living there... was available for both daughter's - to assist births in 1900.

Also she likely was available for the births of Antonio's of helen and Edward in Cleveland in early 1900's.

Bemerkung
The Dydynski name is regularly derived from the village of Dednia or Dydnia ‎(the spelling varied over ages)‎
which was apparently the family nest. Awarded ‎(towns)‎ to the brother's by Casmiri III the Great on June 25, 1361.

Brother's were son's of father Nicholas from Hungary. Peter ‎(Wegrzyn)‎ ‎(de Lobentans)‎ become Dydynski. He was born in Balpotoku. Polish lines of brother's Paul ‎(Pawel)‎ and Peter ‎(Piotr)‎. The ‎(Nobility)‎ two lines came all the way down. The Paul's line is Rosalia's.

Bemerkung
Dydynski Nobility since 14 century:
In 1361 King Casimir the Great gave the brothers Peter and Paul of Hungary,
for their great services rendered, empty place Dydnia and Temeszów located on streams of the same name.
Pawel became the founder of the Dydnia and the progenitor of Dydynski family. His descendants
have founded the abovementioned parish in 15th century. Pawel himself built the wooden church that stood in Dydnia until 1873,
which was replaced with still existing Neogothic temple. Dydynscy of Dydnia, Krzemienna, Temeszów and Niewistka came from
families particularly connected to the Sanok lands.

Grabów is a village in Łęczyca County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Grabów.

Bemerkung
Sterling Forest, New York is a hamlet in the Town of Warwick, Orange County.
It is served by an active United States post office of the same name.
It is situated on the eastern shore of Greenwood Lake, at the New Jersey state line. Part of the hamlet extends into West Milford Township, Passaic County, New Jersey.

Often confused with Sterling Forest, New York
is the old Sterling Forest Gardens property and the adjacent Sterling Forest State Park, both located several miles away in the Town of Tuxedo, New York. ‎(NOT MY TOWN)‎..

Todays map shows Sterling Forest in N.Y.

The hamlet grew up around the terminal station of the Montclair and Greenwood Lake Railway, later called the New York and Greenwood Lake Railway, and later the Greenwood Lake division of the Erie Railroad.

The railroad reached this point around 1875, with the station located at the state line in New Jersey. The depot complex originally contained the Sterling Forest, New Jersey post office. The post office was moved to the New York side of the line in 1926, where it continues to operate. Rail service ceased in 1935.

The coming of the railroad was preceded by the construction of a large commercial ice house by the Ringwood Company around 1864. The Sterling Forest ice house was later operated by the Mountain Ice Company of Hoboken, New Jersey. It ceased operation and was eventually torn down in 1945.

At one time, the hamlet also boasted two hotels ‎(one in New Jersey)‎, a general store, lumber yard, two bars ‎(in addition to those in the hotels)‎ and a Roman Catholic church ‎(in New Jersey)‎.
Today, the only businesses that remain are one bar/restaurant, and a marina ‎(on the site of the depot)‎.

Although there is no crest Grabow, however, has its share in the history of the struggle for independence in the time of annexation. During the January Uprising, 29 października 1863r. Grabow stationed in the Russian division was a daring attack surprised the insurgent party. The Russians lost 7 killed and several dozen wounded in panic left the city. Grabow battle skirmish was the last winner of the January Uprising in łęczycki. In 1870, the tsarist authorities deprived Grabow civic rights and to include municipalities Grabow. During the revolution of the years 1905 - 1907, a number of stormy demonstrations and made an attack on the police convoy, which entailed a number of arrests.

Bemerkung
Rosalia visited Sister M. Ambrose - who became a Teacher of Polish in grades 3-4 and 5. Alexandra - at the invitation of Rev. Lawrence Malecki, paster of St. Joseph's Parish was one of 5 sister sent to open and teach at the school. This is in Central Falls, Rhode Island.

The trip was with Mary ‎(nee Dydynska)‎ married Zilsky of Wilkes Barre, Pa. On this trip ‎(either Rose)‎ did visit before the opening of the school on Sept. 18, 1918 to see Alexandra B. or never made it. Since Rose died on that last trip on May 21, 1918 with Mary Zilsky.
Though I believe Rose fulfilled her wish to see Alexandra ‎(cousin)‎ who was named - identical to her mother Alexandra nee Loga and her brother Alexander ‎(who died in the area of Chlewiska/Przybyslaw)‎ where Rose and John lived from 1870-1880. He was married in that area - 1869 - see his background.
